PASSION MATCH AND HOTLIST What is the Passion Match service and how do I use it? The Passion Match service allows you to select personal characteristics that you’re looking for in a person, Passions'Gate will notify you via email when new members match your preferences. How do I turn on/off my Passion Match emails? To turn on/off Passion Match reports, please follow these steps:
Your Hotlist is a list of members whom you are interested in. It maintains a link to their profile on your "Communicator" page. When you search and click to view more information on a member, you will find to the right “Hot Member” under the Custom Menus. By clicking on “Hot Member”, the member is added to your Hotlist. You can later delete people from your Hotlist. GENERAL INFORMATION What is Passions'Gate? Passions'Gate is a online personals and dating community were you can meet new friends, find love relationships or hook up with other individuals interested in exploring a realm of sexual desire and fantasy! Are members on this site screened? Passions'Gate screens all profiles and Photos before they are posted. If a member changes their profile or uploads photos, sounds or video, we will be prompted and they will not be posted, until we approve it. Our service is confidential, we don't do any extensive background checks on members. Any member who is abusive or abuses another member of this site will be banned. See Terms and Conditions. What is the difference between a guest user and a member? Anyone who comes to Passions'Gate as a guest may browse the listings, but must become a member if they would like to post a profile or view others profiles. In order to use any of the sites many features, you must become a member. Is my private information and identity secure? Yes, your information is confidential and secure. You should never publicly disclose any private information, (such as name, address, phone number etc) about you on the site. Posting of private information in public areas of our site is not permitted. LOGIN ISSUES If I forgot my password or Username, what do I do? On our home page, under members' login section, you will see the link “Forgot Password”. Click on this link and enter your registered email address. Your Username and Password will be sent to your email account. How do I change my password?
MEMBERSHIP ISSUES How do I search for members? There are four ways you can search our database: by username, by Passion Match, by preferences or by using our exclusive SuperSearch feature. SuperSearch fine tunes the search criteria and allows you to search by membership level, any, all three or mixed, by photos only, forward or reverse. Any search criteria that you save, are added to the SuperSearches drop-down window to be recalled later. The possibilities are endless! How do I send email to members? When you get onsite mail, it goes into your mailbox and you will get a new message alert on your "My Profile" page. You will also receive a notification at your private email address. The sender never sees your private email address. How do I block a member from contacting me?
YOUR PROFILE Are profiles censored, and is there any limit to what I can put in my profile? Profiles are censored as long as they don't contain photos or text that violates our Terms and Conditions policy. We reserve the right to refuse any profile or photo that we feel is inappropriate for this site. How long does it take to have my profile posted? It should take no longer than 12 hours from the time you register to have your profile posted. If your profile has not been posted within 24 hours, please go to the "Customer Support" page and notify us. Do you have any tips on how to create profiles? The number of replies you get from other members will depend greatly on the quality of your profile. Here are some helpful tips that will help you: Upload a photograph: People like to see whom they're writing to and as a result, profiles with photographs get up to ten times more clicks as profiles that don't have one. You can either upload a photo from a digital camera or a scanner. Create a catchy title for your profile: When members search listings on the site, the title of your profile is listed next to your name. As a general rule, profile titles like "Hi!" do not catch people's attention, where as more personalized titles do. Think before you write: Feel free to write as much as you want in our essay portions of the sign-up pages. Tell other members about yourself, for instance: your likes and dislikes, things you enjoy doing, what line of work you're in, what your personality is like, even your hopes and dreams. The better your profile describes you, the more likely it is that others will read and respond to it. If you can't think of anything right away, you can always add more later. And don't forget to fill out the optional profile questions - these will also help other members get to know you even better. How do I temporarily turn my listing off? Looking at photos is an important part of most people's selection process. A nice picture of yourself adds personality and presence to your profile and profiles with photos get browsed ten times more often than those without photos. What are the guidelines for posting a photo? Photographs will not appear on the site until they are approved. We reserve the right to reject any photo at our discretion. Photo Content Please adhere to the following guidelines: Hardcore pornographic or other offensive photos will not be posted. Cartoon characters, photos of celebrities and other copyrighted material will not be posted. You must be in the photo and clearly visible. Images of minors (children) will ensure rejection of the photograph. Photo Tips: Choose a recent photo that reflects your current appearance. Use a photo of yourself alone for your primary image. Try group photos for other non-primary images. How do I post a photo? Upload a Photo Firstly you have to login into the site with your username and password. Click on “Upload Photos”, under Member Menu and follow the instructions. Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted as they are submitted. Select thumbnail for the photo you wish to have as your primary.
